Whistleblower Channel – Transparency and Protection at Exitcasa
In compliance with Law No. 93/2021, of December 20 (General Regime for the Protection of Whistleblowers – GDPR), which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/1937, Exitcasa provides this Whistleblowing Channel so that anyone can report, with total security, illegal conduct or violations of rules, without fear of reprisals.
Scope of Canal
This channel is intended for the reception and handling of complaints related to:
  • Violations of national or EU laws or regulations;
  • Practices contrary to Exitcasa's ethical and conduct principles;
  • Infractions occurring in the context of the activity of Exitcasa or franchised entities.
Out of scope: Commercial customer complaints. For these situations, use the Complaints Book (physical or electronic). Who can report
  • Current and former employees;
  • Job applicants;
  • Service providers, suppliers, intermediaries, franchisees and their teams;
  • Clients or any third parties with a professional connection to Exitcasa.
How to file the complaint
Complaints can be submitted:
  • Identified, with the whistleblower's data; or Anonymous, if you prefer.
All communications are treated confidentially and accessible only to authorized persons.
Whistleblower Protection
Exitcasa prohibits any form of retaliation against those who report in good faith, even if the facts are not confirmed. Guarantee:
  • Confidentiality of identity (where applicable);
  • Protection against prejudice or discrimination arising from the complaint.
Treatment and Deadlines
  • Complaints are analysed by designated internal managers or by an external entity mandated, ensuring independence and impartiality;
  • The process ensures information security, integrity and conservation within legal deadlines;
  • Feedback is provided to the whistleblower within a maximum period of 3 months (when there is contact), according to the GDPR.
Data Protection
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the GDPR and applicable legislation, only for the purposes of preventing, detecting and correcting infringements, as well as complying with legal obligations.
